Tim is a highly accomplished healthcare executive with over three decades of leadership experience in hospice, palliative care, senior housing, assisted living, post-acute services and healthcare strategy. Tim has served as the Executive Director at AccentCare Maryland, where he oversaw hospice and palliative care services for more than 1300 patients across nine counties, generating $3 million in monthly revenue. His leadership has driven operational excellence, including a 98% compliance rating in the most recent Joint Commission Survey. Previously at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Tim held senior roles in innovation, strategy and post-acute care. He led the formation of a hospice/home care demonstration project, that resulted in the 3:1 ROI by keeping hospice patients out of the hospital and in their homes. Earlier as the CEO of The Washington Home and Community Hospice, Tim successfully led the organization through complex transitions, including the sale of it nursing facility. His tenure was marked by major financial turnarounds, debt elimination and the launch of a nationally recognized caregiver relief and end-of-life awareness campaigns. Prior to that, as the COO of the Armed Forces Retirement Home, he was appointed by the Secretary of Defense to stabilize finances, realign care delivery, and strengthen operations across two facilities serving 1700 veterans, successfully guiding the agency through both congressional oversight and the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Earlier leadership posts at Sunrise Assisted Living , Philadelphia Presbytery Homes and Holy Family Manor demonstrate a career-long dedication to improving elder care through operational innovation, regulatory expertise and strategic growth. Complemented by a Juris Doctor from Widener University and a BA in Psychology from Bucknell University, Tim brings board service, mentorship of healthcare start-ups, and extensive media and conference experience. His track record blends operational rigor, financial acumen and mission-driven leadership in some of the most complex healthcare environments.
